How does the program work with my battery?

While you pay a fixed rate for energy, prices in the wholesale electricity market fluctuate throughout the day based on supply and demand. When real-time prices are high and the grid is in need of power, your battery will be discharged to either offset your home’s energy consumption or sell energy back to the grid. 

And just like solar buyback, you earn money for the power you sell back when the grid needs it most – earning you credits each month on your bill.
