Do I need to pay a deposit?

To enroll with David Energy you’ll either need to pass a soft credit check, or provide a deposit during the enrollment process.

No deposit is required if you can demonstrate any of the situations below with evidence sent by overnight courier:

• If you have been with one REP for 2 years, and are not delinquent and 12 consecutive months of service, not late more than once.
• If you are 65 years of age or older AND not currently delinquent (current invoice).
• If you are a victim of family violence. Please submit a certification letter developed by the Texas Council of Family. A certification from a physician can be faxed to 646-693-6422 or sent by mail. 
• If you are medically indigent, below 150% of the poverty guidelines or medical expenses exceed 20% of the household gross income. A certification from a physician can be faxed to 646-693-6422 or sent by mail.

If none of these exceptions apply and you'd like to proceed, a money order should be made out to David Energy Supply (Texas) LLC and mailed to:
