How does Battery Optimization work? How frequently will I see battery activity?

Battery Optimization adjusts your system daily to sell, buy, or self-consume power to get you to the lowest bill. You'll see activity in your battery logs when it happens, but it won't look too different from how your battery operates in self-consumption mode today.

Over time, the activity you see will change as optimization adapts to your unique home, your solar production, and energy markets.

You're always in control of how much power you keep in reserve - we will not ever drain you battery, beyond the level you choose.
